What
is the Centralia area Chamber of Commerce?
Your Centralia area
Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary partnership of business and professional
people working together to build a healthy economy and to improve the
quality of life in the Centralia community.
To accomplish these
goals, the Chamber of Commerce wears many hats: economic developer and
planner, business spokesperson, network of business knowledge, public
relations specialist, tourist information center, government relations
coordinator and festival and special events promotional facilitator.
To keep all of these
activities in proper focus, the Chamber of Commerce is run by its members,
who elect a board of directors to set policies and carry out specific
programs. This board of directors meets the 2nd tuesday of each month
at the Chamber office. They employ a part time executive director to oversee
the office and communication needs.
The Chamber of Commerce
requires a broad representation of the entire business and community leaders.
Your membership in the Centralia area Chamber of Commerce enhances the
programs that make Centralia a better place to live and work.
